PASTOR DAVE ABBERGER

Dave started off his ministry career as a student pastor and eventually became the associate pastor in Lakeview, MI. After serving there for 10 years, he served as lead pastor in churches in Charlotte, NC and Memphis, TN. Both churches experienced revitalization and tremendous growth during his leadership.

While serving in Memphis, God placed a burden on his heart to return to his home state of Michigan and plant a church. Dave and Danissse have 4 children, Ethan, Evan, Mia and Hudson.

Dave played quarterback in the Arena Football League and stays involved with football and community through coaching in Zeeland.

Hope Church was recognized in the top 10 of church plants in 2018 and 2019 by The Idea Day Network.

Dave graduated from Seminary in 2003 and was ordained in 2005.
